{Preponderated}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Preponderating}.] [L.
praeponderatus, p. p. of praeponderare; prae before
ponderare to weigh, fr., pondus, ponderis, a weight. See
{Ponder}.]
1. To outweigh; to overpower by weight; to exceed in weight;
to overbalance.
