  • r tryhackme - Reddit
You may have seen me around, I am Jabba from TryHackMe! This post is to inform you all of changes that are happening to the subreddit We recently broke 40,000 members and to celebrate the subreddit will be undergoing a makeover Here are the changes we have planned to help make your TryHackMe Subreddit experience better:
  • TryHackMe a good starting point? : r cybersecurity - Reddit
I dig TryHackMe for their hands on exp, but if you want a stronger base line, look into the Network+ and Security+ certs Not necessarily saying you need to get the certs, but the content in there is super helpful There are also plenty of YouTube or Udemy like classes for cheap on the subjects
  • How does the ranking system work? : r tryhackme - Reddit
    Posted by u rebecca-is-choom - 14 votes and 28 comments
  • Is try hack me really free : r tryhackme - Reddit
Yes TryHackMe content is 80% free! On learning paths you will encounter subscriber-only rooms You can
  • Does anyone tried tryhackme : r oscp - Reddit
But since quarantine, I've taken 3 full udemy classes (Complete Ethical Hacking Course by Ermin Kreponic, Practical Ethical Hacking by Heath Adams, and Jason Dion's PenTest+ course), and some random free rooms on TryHackMe, and I've done 18 of the retired HTB boxes from the tjnull list and 3 active boxes
  • TryHackMe vs HTB : r cybersecurity - Reddit
TRyhackme was good, but I had tons of IT experience before hand so it was kind of basic (to me) Hack the Box on the other hand challenges me regularly and I can honestly said I've learned applicable things for IT in general from HackTheBox I actually recommend HTB to people just trying to up their IT skillset in general
  • TryHackMe vs. Hack The Box : r tryhackme - Reddit
It's my opinion that bang per buck, TryHackMe has no competition The amount of money spent over at HackTheBox, I could never begin to rationalize To be clear, while subscriptions are important and the whole point is to get subscribing users, financially it's not the crutch that keeps either going For the content, TryHackMe has great value
  • SOC Analysts out there, which training platform offers the . . . - Reddit
I never wasted my time on TryHackMe, LetsDefend, etc You can do all of that well like some of my coworkers, but absolutely suck in a SOC environment That’s not to say the material isn’t good and helpful in other areas It’s just better imho to get certs and tailor your resume around the actual tools of the trade instead of simulated ones
  • Hack The Box vs Tryhackme vs Hack The Box Academy : r hacking - Reddit
Tryhackme is where I started (HTB Academy wasn't nearly as good as it is now back then) Definetly a really good starting place for beginners To contrast it with HTB Academy, i think the rooms on THM are more hit or miss Some are really good and some are really bad, as opposed to HTB Academy where everything is fantastic
  • r tryhackme on Reddit: Ive just reached the top 1%, how much did it . . .
To achieve this, I focused only on the learning paths that Tryhackme currently has available The completed learning paths are the following: Introduction to Cyber Security, Pre Security, Web Fundamentals, Complete Beginner, Comptia Pentest+ and Jr Penetration Tester
