    I do notice newer Bushmaster models tend to have properly staked bolt carriers, and the older ones tend to have a shallow staking on the bolt carrier FYI, my bushmaster had a serial of L52XXXX which I bought around 2010 11 as my first AR rifle I do know it's when they were taken over and no longer "Bushmaster "
